Water and hoses
Switch off, unplug and close the water supply before disconnecting hoses. Catch remaining water. Drain hoses and the drainage system as instructed in the manual and secure loose hoses for transport.
Protect the drum
Use the transport protection specified for the model. If bolts are missing, ask the manufacturer for suitable replacements. Remove the protection again before using the machine at its destination. Bosch describes these steps in its washing-machine moving guidance.
Discuss the carrying route
For a transport request, send photos of the machine, stairs and difficult turns. Mention any dryer stacked above it. Explain what you will prepare yourself and what remains, so the request covers the full job.
