Moving in Diemen. With the full route planned.

A short journey still involves carrying

A move from Amsterdam to Diemen may involve a short drive but considerable carrying. Describe the stairs, boxes and large furniture. Distance alone does not provide a useful estimate.

From a room to your first home

If belongings come from a room, your family home and a second-hand purchase, create a list for each collection address. Agree which shared items stay with housemates and which are yours to move.

Access to a shared building

For a shared building, confirm the correct entrance, lift and any entry code. Keep communal routes clear. We travel from Amsterdam; Diemen is a service area, not a separate branch.

Plan loading and access

Share the loading point and carrying distance. Reserving space, using a moving lift or placing other obstacles may require further arrangements or municipal procedures. Check the exact address and date; parking and permit costs are not part of the standard hourly rate.

Prepare with photos and an inventory

Photograph large furniture, boxes, entrances and stairs. Tell us what you will do yourself and what help you need. Storage rooms, extra collection addresses or assembly can change the work; include them in your request.

Check the local loading spot

For a traffic exemption in Diemen, the exact location and intended use matter. Have the address, date, time window and loading spot ready when asking the municipality for advice.

Current municipal guidance (Dutch) ↗

Rules and application times can change. Check the requirements for your address and date.

From the details to a clear agreement

Tell us what you will prepare yourself and what you need us to do. Photos of items, doors and awkward corners help us assess the work. We agree the team, route and tasks before you approve the quote.
